One of my most memorable experiences with elk was watching a large herd during their migration as they hurried across Antelope Flats in Grand Teton National Park. Their bodies steamed with exertion in the chilly morning air, forming a cloud over their path as they climbed over a hill. It was an incredible and thrilling sight to witness!
